I bought this item back on November 27, 2010. This scooter was purchased as a birthday present. When the item arrived to my door 2 people had to carry this item to my apartment, so this means that if you want to keep this a secret that they wont be able to be at home. I also gift wrapped it and just left it under the Christmas tree. The scooter will be about 5 months old in about 3 days.

This scooter has not really given any problems at all, I take my daughter to the park and she rides it on the sidewalks. I have even taken her to larger parks where there are inclines and the scooter can climb fairly easy. She is about 85 pounds and I would say that the scooter does go close to the 10 miles per hour that is stated on the box. The only thing I dislike about the scooter is that when making right turns the scooter tends to scratch where the protective plastic is for the chain. Overall I would say that this is a great buy and she’s been riding it a lot more since it has gotten warmer outside!
